Bracing and strengthening your abdominals might not be helping your spine feeling any better if you are not:
a) Connecting your abdominal contraction with your breath
b) Creating only as much tension through your abdominals that is actually appropriate for the task in hand
Hi, I’m Coach Ansku
I created this course, because I wanted to enable more people having access to these simple tools that once helped me so much!
Typically while training we are taught how to tense up and tighten, contract muscles and work up to failure. And even though that might apply in situations when we are trying to build maximal strength, all the rest of the time we should be able to move our bodies without needing to grip and brace!
But no one seems to ever teach us how to do that and most of us also have no clue how to. But if you don't know how to move your body without tensing and tightening then how could your body ever feel anything but tense and tight?
And that is a problem because we were never meant to be tense and tight, but instead somewhat loose and mobile because that allows us to have access to all the possible ways that our bodies were designed to move in!
So let's start by learning how to relax and let go, so that when we start building strength, we wouldn learn how to build it in a way that doesn't make our bodies just lock up: We tense up muscles and our bodies only as much as is appropriate for the task in hand......
But not more than that and this is the important part :)
This mini course will help you;
1) Learn how to let go and relax
2) Learn how to create tension in a way that doesn't block out movement from your body
3) Learn how your core works and how you can restore proper function of your core through appreciating the role that your respiratory system plays in that game!
How?
In this course, you will be introduced to 3 different techniques, all geared towards learning how to connect your breath with the way your body moves and the way your core works!
We help the body enter into a state of physiological recovery
360° expansion around the ribcage allows you to manage pressure better
Learning how to connect your breath with your core muscles is what lays the base for what we call "core stability"
